DIGIT − Sustainable Digital Transformation
The projects overall objective is that companies in the region can use the opportunities that AI, IoT and data-driven development bring to strengthen competitiveness and develop sustainable products, services and sustainable production.
In a digitized world, access to and use of data is crucial for developing sustainable products and services for an international market. Companies have a great need to increase knowledge about data-driven development and want to become data-driven, but going from the desire to practical implementation is not so easy, especially for the smaller companies. To succeed, companies need a structure to manage data, technical solutions, competence and an organization adapted to this.
Project Digit's overall objective is that companies in the region can use the opportunities that AI, IoT and data-driven development bring to strengthen competitiveness and develop sustainable products, services and sustainable production.
The project will strengthen research on data-driven development at Mid Sweden University and in companies. The region's position and attractiveness is strengthened, which leads to increased growth.
